Ghana cassava flour production-modern processing methods

In order to promote the production of cassava flour in Ghana, the production technology of cassava flour in Ghana has been continuously improved. In particular, the introduction of advanced modern

cassava flour processing machines has greatly improved the processing efficiency of Ghanaian cassava flour.

The Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ghana said that the Ghanaian government has put agricultural reforms to promote economic transformation on the agenda and will focus on the cassava industry chain. When explaining the reason, he pointed out that the production of cassava flour in Ghana is very important to most rural residents and has great potential value for industrial development. He said that the government is formulating policies to promote high-quality cassava flour widely used in the food industry.

Modern processing methods for Ghanaian cassava flour production include washing and washing, crushing, degreasing, dewatering and drying. After these operations are carried out with modern equipment, a series of high-purity and high-standard finished products are processed into the market.

In the cleaning and washing process, use a dry sieve and a paddle cleaner to remove dirt and gravel on the surface of the cassava, and some of the outer skin can be washed off.

Then, most cassava flour production in Ghana is equipped with a cassava peeling machine to remove the cassava peel, but usually the peeling rate cannot reach 100%. Of course, the latest tapioca flour processing technology developed by SDACompany can eliminate the peeling step and use high-efficiency sawdust to crush the cassava into a mash.

Before crushing, a cassava chopper can be used to cut the long cassava into small pieces to make the cassava more thoroughly crushed, thereby increasing the output of cassava flour. Then, the chopped cassava is broken and crushed under the high-speed rotation of the cassava blade, which can further improve the extraction rate of cassava flour.

The crushed cassava is then screwed into a desander, where the sand is removed. Through this step, the produced cassava flour has higher quality and better taste.

The dehydration and drying process is suitable for semi-finished products of cassava flour in the production of cassava flour in Ghana. Use a plate and frame filter press (dewatering machine) and a rapid dryer to complete these two steps. In the dehydrator, the crushed cassava pulp is filtered under high pressure into a cassava board, in which the water content can be reduced to about 40%, but the specific water content can be adjusted according to customer requirements to obtain different contents.

After simple dehydration, the cassava flour in the dehydrator can be dried. The fast dryer uses a fan to dry the cassava flour instantly to ensure that the moisture in the cassava flour is even. In addition, it does not make the powder run during processing, so it does not lose excessive flour. The combination of the above machines guarantees the high quality and high standards of Ghana's cassava flour production.

There is no doubt that Genana's cassava flour production business will grow rapidly in the future. If you are a keen or visionary businessman, you will know that now is the time to enter the cassava flour production enterprises in Ghana to grab market share. If you are interested, welcome to contact Kaifeng Star Company, we can provide you with advanced equipment or turnkey projects.

Although Ghana is the third largest cassava producer in Africa and the sixth largest cassava producer in the world. The position of cassava in the economy relative to its production level has not received enough attention. The Minister of Trade and Industry of Ghana stated that cassava has not received enough attention in the past and should now play a greater role in promoting economic transformation. He pointed out that more than 45% of the harvested cassava was wasted in the follow-up process, and that the income generated by cassava for Ghana is actually equivalent to cocoa. Ghana imports a large amount of ethanol and medicinal starch every year. If Ghana's cassava flour production chain can attract enough attention, this situation will change.
